Growing up I was a sad kid, but i also loved the ocean and the beach. So when I fist saw the Music Video for Chris Isaak's Wicked Game I was in Love. That song was for me!. I am heavily influenced by Reggae and also Fiona Apple. I wanted to rework this song in a way that was fun, honest and true to my uncategorical style. I play ukulele and recently went electric and this was a must-do for me. I brought the Reggae cover idea for this song to Dan Connor and David Fine as a way to fill out our set list for our West Coast Tour and on first attempt it was magic. It was a Tour Favorite. Upon returning to Brooklyn in the fall of 2019 we recorded our cover and are so happy to share it with all of you.
